1. Wear a provocative necklace. Find something meaningful to you that leads to a story of travel and adventure, or of deeply held values. Then, when women ask about it, you’ll have a story all primed and ready.
2. Move with a sense of purpose. This doesn’t necessarily mean a staccato brisk walk. It can be a lazy surfer-dude walk. But make it say something. Be deliberate.
3. Have some interesting stories to tell. Don’t brag, but leave little hints about impressive things you’ve done. Bait the other person into asking about these things. In fact, if you can tell a story that’s mostly about something dumb you did, but it’s spiked with little hints of impressive things you’ve accomplished, that will play very well.
4. Be cocky and funny. Tease the other person. There’s a fine line between “cocky” and “jerky”, so be careful. Another way to put it is “playfully arrogant”, or “warmly dominant”. Pick the description that seems to fit best for you.
5. Look for any situation to flirt. If you have to bend down to tie your shoe, near someone interesting, say “don’t get too excited, I’m not proposing.” This is playful. Resist the temptation to be overly self-deprecating, though. It would be funny to say “Don’t worry, I’m not proposing”, but it wouldn’t generate as much attraction.
6. Try mirroring the other person subtly. If they play with their hair, play with yours. If they tap their foot, tap yours. If they reach for their drink, reach for yours. Don’t be too obvious, though. We like those who are like us.
