He peers closer. Yup. She’s got great legs and a beautiful smile. He walks over to her and asks,
“How’s your night going?”
“Good – really good,” she says.
“That’s good. Let’s see. So I’m a C++ programmer. I enjoy it the same way I enjoyed predicate calculus in college.”
She tries to interrupt him but he continues his tedium with, “I really enjoy history – especially the history of presidents. Clinton, Reagan, Carter, Nixon, Kennedy.”
Finally she interrupts him with, “I got to go to the bathroom.”
What happened? Why’d he lose her? Is he ugly, overweight, smelly, or a bad dresser? From reading how he interacts with women, you’d think so.
Oddly, this couldn’t be further from the truth. Believe it or not, Mike is 6’1″ and has a face that would make George Clooney envious.
He has impeccable hygiene and used to work in the fashion industry.
So why didn’t he get the girl?
Before we answer that question, let us explore the attraction gem we just unearthed: looks don’t matter.
A lot of less than average looking guys think that if they were good looking they could get any girls they wanted.
But that’s just not true as we have just seen. Mike is great looking. However, he failed to get the girl.
What was Mike missing?
While Mike has looks, he lacks the ability to build rapport with women.
His conversation topics aren’t relevant to anything the girl knows or cares about. He doesn’t take the time to relate to people.
If you want high quality women, stop focusing on your looks and start thinking about how you can relate to women.
Once you master the art of building rapport with women, you’ll be able to attract any woman you want. In fact, you will have an unfair advantage over better looking guys.
